The Volkswagen Original parking assistance system, with 4 sensors and audible warning function to give additional safety when parking. The easy to install Park Distance Control system is an effective aid to prevent unattractive damage to the bumper when reversing. It emits a short bleep signal when the reverse gear is engaged to tell you it is active. As the distance to the obstacle decreases, the intervals between the beeps become shorter. In addition, a graphic view appears in the infotainment-display. The microprocessor controlled Park Distance Control is checked for faults using a self-diagnostics function. The sensors can be painted over, so that they can be discreetly blended into the vehicle’s appearance. The Park Distance Control system has an intelligent setup function. Thus, for example, fixed towing hitches are not incorrectly identified as an obstacle. Complete with control unit, four sensors, sound generator, connecting wires, fitting material, mounting and operating instructions.
