M5700N vermin repellent system, incl. bonnet lid switch. The top-of-the-range unit M5700N combines 3 repellent mechanisms. 6 encapsulated and watertight speakers emit loud, pulsating, true-to-nature, ultrasonic sounds (sine wave) via extensive metal membranes. Approximately 200 to 300 volts of high voltage are simultaneously applied to the membranes, which, upon contact with a marten or other small animal, repel it with a (for the animal) powerful electric shock. The electric shocks are adjusted in such a way that they drive the animal away but do not kill it. In addition, 2 pulsating LEDs respectively (= 12) at each speaker satellite unnerve the nocturnal animal.
